Darren Batara, MS, BSN, RN, CPHIMS, has over 20 years of nursing leadership experience at Stanford Health Care. He began his career in a medical/surgical ICU before transitioning to leadership roles, including ICU management, where he led quality and operational initiatives. In 2018, Darren joined the new hospital activation team, focusing on supply chain optimization, sustainability, and technology deployment. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he became Manager of Nursing Innovation and Informatics, overseeing technology implementation in clinical settings. Darren now manages legacy systems, mobile applications, and strategic AI initiatives, advancing healthcare innovation at Stanford Health Care.
