Lindy Morris Fishburne

Lindy Fishburne is a Managing Partner at Breakout Ventures, an investment firm that partners with exceptional founders scaling scientific innovation. Lindy has spent over a decade supporting early-stage companies navigate the frontier of science and technology. With a background in management consulting, she co-founded Breakout Labs to support seed-stage companies at the leading edge of tech-enabled biology. In 2016, she co-founded Breakout Ventures with Julia Moore to fund and support superhuman founders from initiation through exit. Having managed two startup companies through rapid growth and sale, Lindy brings operational experience to her work as a Board Member for Breakout portfolio companies such as Cytovale, General Sense, and ZymoChem. She is a graduate of Duke University and holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
