Heather is a strategic and visionary healthcare physician and business executive. An entrepreneur with over a decade of experience practicing medicine, she has worked with several early-stage, venture-backed companies, including Surgical Innovation Associates (SIA), an implantable medical device company that was acquired by Integra Life Sciences. She remains active in the healthcare startup community, advising and mentoring early-stage companies.
Heather has held leadership roles focused on AI partnerships and pharmaceutical strategic alliances at GE Healthcare, Highmark Health (BCBS), and TeraRecon, before joining Philips in 2024. At Philips, she concentrates on the AI Ecosystem and examines how AI impacts changes in diagnostic imaging and clinical care delivery.
She holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and both a BS in Biology and a DPM from Rosalind Franklin University and completed residency in Foot and Ankle Surgery.
